Blazing Trails

This project taught me how to solve problems by thinking small.

The brief was clear: “Nobody’s using our content because the videos are too long or unrelatable.” Adding to the challenge, global markets had different preferences—some valued storytelling, while others prioritized car features. Our solution? Think small.

We developed short, modular videos with relatable characters, backstories, and activities that complemented the vehicles. Each market could choose a single 15-second clip or combine up to six for a fuller product story, making the content flexible and engaging across all regions.

One with nature.

Filmed in the rugged mountains of California, we secured an ideal terrain to showcase the Trailblazer ACTIV’s off-road versatility. Leveraging a dynamic mix of high-speed camera car rigs, precision drone cinematography, and stabilized handheld setups, we maximized coverage efficiency—capturing a diverse range of angles and action sequences, all within a one-day shoot.

Finding hidden gems.

Shot in the heart of downtown LA, closing off major roads was no small feat—but always rewarding when we pull it off. Capturing dynamic drone shots in tight spaces and busy streets posed a challenge, but we executed seamlessly.
