Kamusta and hello! I’m Elmar, an art director whose journey started in the colorful streets of the Philippines, where culture and creativity first captured my imagination. Growing up in the U.S., I’ve learned to blend the boldness of my Filipino roots with the energy and drive of American culture. It’s this mix that fuels my passion for every project I take on.

Design and storytelling are my thing. Whether I’m crafting campaigns for big brands or capturing candid moments with my camera, my goal is simple: to create visuals that make people stop, think, and feel.

When I’m not working, I’m chasing inspiration in my own way. I’m a sneaker head so I scour the web for sneakers, especially the ones that tell a story through their design. My photography helps me slow down and capture the quiet beauty of everyday moments — often inspired by Detroit, where I wander the streets chasing light. The kitchen is another creative space for me, where I celebrate my Filipino roots through cooking. I’m also the proud creator of Filipeanuts, my signature garlic-sriracha peanuts that have earned a fanbase of their own — I wish you could try it!

I think of creativity as a reflection of who we are — constantly changing, expanding, and evolving as we grow and experience life. Every moment adds a layer, making the work richer and more meaningful.
